Chief: The leader of the warren. His or her name ends with the title -rah (or the less formal -ra, -ah, or -a). To be a chief rabbit, your character has to be between four and eight years old. A chief is elected by all members of the warren who are over six months old. Any rabbit over four years can enter as a candidate during the election. The election is held until every rabbit has decided which candidate to vote for. Sometimes it can take only a couple of hours; sometimes it lasts for months. During this time, the candidates try to prove their worthiness by fighting and talking to the members of their warren who haven't voted yet.
Deputy: This can either be the lead Owl, or the chief's mate. The deputy is chosen by the chief rabbit. They command all Owls, Kestrels and Chicks. Deputies must be between four and eight years old.

Owl: A strong rabbit who protects the warren from enemies. They deal with any intruders, prisoners or spies. Three of them guard the chief rabbit at all times. Owls must be at least two years old.
Hawk: A wise rabbit who advises and heals others. They are in charge of keeping the warren clean and safe. Most know a lot about plants and animals. Hawks must be at least three years old.
Falcon: An agile rabbit who carries messages. They are sometimes sent to spy on other warrens. They often help to formulate attack plans. Falcons must be at least two years old.
Kestrel: A rabbit without a rank. This could be because they are in a gang (where there are fewer ranks), or because they haven't been assigned a rank yet. This rank also includes rabbits who have been demoted, or who have retired. Nursing rabbits are considered Kestrels.
Chick: A rabbit between the age of six months and three years, in training to become an Owl, Hawk or Falcon. They must follow the orders of every rabbit in their warren.
Newborn: Any rabbit less than six months old. These rabbits live in a nursery burrow with their mother. They enjoy bossing Chicks around.
